Barker RoadThe market is about a 10-minute walk from Maidstone High Street.
There is parking at the market. Or you can use the Barker Road Car Park or any of the other car parks in the town. More information about our car parks can be found on our Parking pages. If you are coming by car, please don’t use the B&Q car park as you may get clamped.
The 505 is a free shuttle bus that runs from The Chequers Bus Station to the Market and back. It runs from 9.30am to 1.30pm on a Tuesday and there is a bus every 20 minutes.
The nearest train station to the market is Maidstone West. More information about train services to Maidstone can be found on the National Rail website.
The market has a mix of indoor, outdoor and covered outdoor pitches.

People looking to sell items at the auction, must bring them in on Wednesdays between 6am and 10am. The auction itself is on Thursdays. Viewing for the auction starts at 8am and bidding starts at 10am.
The hall is 50 metres by 20 metres.
The current fees until 31 March 2017 are:
Standard hire - £495 per day
Standard hire for auctioneers - £390 per day
Local community and junior (under 16s) events - £125 per day or £20 per hour for a minimum of three hours
Commercial hire - £1,030 per day or £545 per half day
Hire of chairs - £47 per 100 chairs
If you want to hire the hall you will need Public Liability Insurance of £5 million.

Maidstone Boot Fair operates alongside the Saturday Maidstone Market 52 weeks per year in the undercover car park at Lockmeadow, so we are never rained off. The Boot Fair runs from 7:30am to 1:30pm, the same hours as Maidstone Market.
Second-hand goods only
No need to book, just show up between 5:30am and 7:15am for a pitch. Prices are £10 for a 3 metre pitch and £17 for a double
